Groupe URD conducted a study on the environmental practices of the international organisation, Humanity & Inclusion (HI), with funding from the Humanitarian Environment Network. Despite the environmental and climate emergency, which predominantly affects countries where humanitarian operations take place, these issues are still not taken into account properly in aid organisations’ practices and policies. For its part, Humanity & Inclusion (HI) has taken action to reduce its environmental footprint both in Europe and in the field for some years now, in parallel to an internal restructuring process. This report provides food for thought for organisations who want to adopt or improve an environmental approach.Samantha Brangeon
