This case study on the Morne-Hôpital neighbourhood looks at the possible correlations between localisation strategies and the reconstruction policy on the one hand, and the expansion of anarchic building and land grabbing on the other. It also describes the environmental risks that exist and their consequences on the population. It is part of a broader study called, “Reconstruction and the Environment in the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince”.Richener Noël
