Study report on “Providing clean water and sanitation in crisis situations”, 2011

The objective of this study is to contribute to discussions about what strategies and practices to adopt to improve the effectiveness of water, sanitation and hygiene operations in crisis situations. The main issues that emerge are the notion of LRRD and the recognition that it is necessary to establish emergency programmes in the long term. This study was commissioned by the Water Academy and was published in issue 115 of the Document de travail series edited by the French Development Agency.
