More than the Money: Localisation in Practice (synthesis), 2017

This study, commissioned by Trocaire, explores the issue of aid localisation and the commitments made during the World Humanitarian Summit and the Grand Bargain. It is based on two case studies, in Myanmar and the Democratic Republic of Congo, two countries that have faced humanitarian crises resulting from internal conflict. Recommendations are made urging Trocaire to strengthen its partnerships with local actors and share the essential aspects of humanitarian action with them.
