The Chad Observatory began an initial 8-month phase from March to October 2009 via the Programme to Support Collective Learning and Improve the Quality of the Humanitarian Response in Eastern Chad, with support from Solidarites. From 1 to 28 May 2009, the first multi-disciplinary Iterative Evaluation with Mini-Seminars (IEMS 1) was carried out. It covered the following 4 themes: natural resource management and the environmental impact of programmes; water and sanitation; economic and food security; and aid quality.Bonaventure G.
