This report is a synthesis of the findings of four case studies conducted as part of the Collective Resolution to Enhance Accountability and Transparency in Emergencies (CREATE) initiative, led by Transparency International. The objective of the studies was to provide a factual basis on aid integrity risks, in particular corruption risks, as well as on prevention and mitigation measures. They were used to provide humanitarian assistance in four complex operational contexts: Afghanistan, the response to the Ebola epidemic in Guinea, southern Somalia and operations to assist Syrian refugees in Lebanon.Adele Harmer (Humanitarian Outcomes) & François Grünewald (Groupe URD)
