The programme targeted around 115,000 children, aged between 6 and 23 months, and 19,000 pregnant and lactating women (PLW) living in poor or very poor households in the regions of Ménaka, Tombouctou, Gao and Mopti.
In order to identify both the successful aspects, and the challenges involved in the programme, which includes several innovative approaches, WFP and UNICEF commissioned Groupe URD to carry out a lesson learning exercise.
This analysis helped to highlight the strengths of the programme and the difficulties encountered, and to make a series of recommendations, based on five ‘areas for reflection’.
These different aspects are presented in a video, a brochure and the full report.
