The Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is a key player in the management of complex situations involving both conflicts and natural disasters, LRRD and DRR. It has put in place internal coordination mechanisms since the Seville Agreement in 1993, to which have been added supplementary Measures.
As part of the preparation of one of the Movement’s main forums, the Council of Delegates, which took place in Sydney, Australia, in 2013, a review of internal coordination within the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement has been launched jointly by the ICRC and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in several field contexts.
Groupe URD was the team leader for the mission carried out in Mali for this review.
