This field visit follows on from an initial real-time evaluation field visit to the Roya, Tinée and Vésubie valleys in October 2020. The aim is to analyse the response to disasters of this kind both in the short-term and the long-term, and to reinforce the lesson learning process that began two weeks after Storm Alex.
The findings of this evaluation will feed into a comparative analysis of disaster management ‘here and abroad’ that will be carried out in 2021 in connection with the RePER network.
