Replay: ADAPT Webinar on the Importance of a Gendered Approach

On March 3rd, ADAPT (formally PREPARE), an initiative hosted by Groupe URD, held its fourth in a series of webinars dedicated to the challenges posed by climate change on humanitarian practice. This webinar analysed the importance of a gendered approach to the humanitarian impacts of global warming.

The panel of gender and climate experts included Zénabou Segda (Women Environmental Program Burkina Faso), Dr. Susan Blaustein (WomenStrong International) and Dr. Marisa O’Ensor (Georgetown University).

The speakers presented the gendered impacts of global warming, and how women and girls are building resilience to this phenomenon. If you missed this event, you can watch it again here.
