As part of the ‘Humanitarian Project Management’ module, 23 students from Lille 2 University are staying at Groupe URD’s headquarters from 18 to 22 November 2019 for a training course on project cycle management, from the initial assessment to the final evaluation. The course includes theory and practical exercises based on a case study that is presented throughout the week, with content gathered in the field by Groupe URD staff. These sessions are punctuated by a series of presentations on specific subjects, such as the environment in humanitarian action, cash transfers and the migration crisis in Europe.
The partnership between Lille 2 University and Groupe URD has existed for more than ten years, allowing a group of students to come to Plaisians for a one-week training session each year.
