Workshops on the challenges of the peace process in Colombia, July 2017

In view of the current situation and following its recent work on the subject, Groupe URD will hold two discussions on the peace process and its challenges in Colombia. A first session is held internally for AFD staff on 29 June, and a second on 03 July in Geneva in English, at the Graduate Institute.

Groupe URD recently worked with FAO to assist it in developing a long-term resilience-building programme using a multisectoral approach, taking into account both the conditions of the peace agreement and the many social and natural risks affecting Colombia. To this end, he has visited Colombia and will share his experiences.

These two exchanges will also provide an opportunity to take advantage of the presence of a Colombian researcher specialising in transitional justice issues, who is currently carrying out research work within Groupe URD.

The presentation in Geneva on July 03, organized in partnership and with the support of CERAH, is open to the public. It will be directed by Gabriel Rojas and François Grünewald.
