This seminar aims to bring together actors from multiple perspectives (cooperation, humanitarian, civil society, donor and research) and to solicit the public in order to cross-reference experiences and identify convergences in the use of agroecological approaches between crisis management and development. It will explore three questions in particular:
- Is a territory that has begun its “agroecological transition” less sensitive to the impact of
crises and can it more easily mobilize specific adaptation levers to deal with them? - How can operators intervening in crisis zones rely on the principles of AE to intervene more
effectively? - In areas facing a major influx of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), can certain AE principles
be used to facilitate their integration?
The questions will be discussed by a multidisciplinary panel, and supported by feedback from field experiences, before opening the floor to the room to bring together other contributions and deepen the reflection.
François Grünewald will be a speaker and will represent Groupe URD.
