One-day introductory course: Sigmah, project management software, March 2017

Groupe URD and Coordination Sud are running a one-day training session on Sigmah, the open source software for the shared management of relief and development projects. This introductory session will take place on Thursday 9 March, in Lyon, at the headquarters of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regional Council, one of Sigmah’s partners.

The aim of this one-day course will be to introduce participants to Sigmah and its main features. They will also learn about the issues involved in adopting the software, how it can help to improve the Quality of aid programmes, and how users can take part in the collective process behind Sigmah.

The course is aimed at aid professionals in charge of projects or programmes, or who are responsible for organisational development. It will consist of two complementary but independent half days: a general presentation of the project in the morning, and a more detailed introduction to the software, and how it can be used as part of a Quality approach, in the afternoon. Participants will learn to use the basic features of the software.
