DIHAD, Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference & Exhibition, March 2016

Groupe URD will be taking part in the 13th edition of DIHAD which is taking place in Dubai on 21-23 March 2016. The theme this year is “The importance of innovation in humanitarian aid and development”. We will be represented at the France pavilion organised by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Crisis and Support Centre. We will be speaking during session 5: “Ensuring Innovation is Both Sustainable and Responding to Genuine Needs”.

This event, which has been held every year since 2004 under the patronage of the Emir of Dubai, brought together more than 10 800 participants in 2015. This will be the 5th year that we will be taking part, and speaking at one of the plenary sessions. Each year, it is an opportunity for us to get to know regional stakeholders better.

This year, the DIHAD will focus on the theme of innovation, a theme that will also be central to the debates at the World Humanitarian Summit. We will be presenting the different innovations we are involved in, both in terms of methodology and tools.
