Study report on “Land, institutions and humanitarian action in post-earthquake Haiti”, 2012

This study analyses problems of land ownership in the context of the humanitarian response to the earthquake in Haiti, focusing particularly on the interface between, on the one hand, international humanitarian institutions, and, on the other, the administrative complexity of local law and land ownership systems in Haiti. Groupe URD carried out this work in collaboration with the Humanitarian Policy Group (HPN) and the Overseas Development Institute (ODI).
